Tezify Driver App — Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Tezify driver application (the “App”) collects and how it is used. The App is published by Tezify and is used by trucking companies to run their own operations. It is not a consumer application and there is no public sign-up.
Who holds your data
Your employer — the trucking company that issued your driver code — decides what work records are created about you and how long they are kept. They are the ones to ask about your loads, pay, inspections and records.
Tezify provides and operates the software on their behalf. We do not use your information for our own purposes, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who the App is for
The App is for drivers who have been issued a driver code and PIN by the trucking company they work for. You sign in with those credentials.
Information collected
- No device location. This App does not request, collect, or track your phone’s GPS location, and it holds no location permission. Where a company tracks vehicles, that comes from in-truck ELD hardware fitted to the truck, not from this App or your phone.
- Account details. Your name, driver code, and phone number, as entered by your employer.
- Duty status. The On Duty / Driving / Sleeper / Off Duty status you set in the App, so dispatch knows your availability. This is a status you choose, not a location.
- Work records. Loads assigned to you, status updates, hours of service, bill-of-lading numbers, inspection records, defect reports, settlement and pay figures, and messages you send to dispatch.
- Photos and documents. Inspection and proof-of-delivery photos and paperwork you capture or attach. The camera is used only when you choose to add a photo.
How it is used
This information is used to run your employer’s trucking operation: dispatching and tracking loads, documenting pickups and deliveries, safety and compliance, payroll and settlement, and communication between you and the office.
Who it is shared with
Your work information is visible to dispatch, safety and management staff at the company you work for. It is not shared with other companies using the App. Tezify uses service providers — hosting, database and storage, and an AI provider — to operate the App; they process data on our behalf under their terms.
How long it is kept
Operational records are kept for as long as your employer needs them for their business and for their legal and regulatory obligations. Retention periods are set by them, not by Tezify.
Your choices
The camera and photo library are used only when you choose to add a photo; you can deny or revoke those permissions in your device settings at any time. To request access to or deletion of your data, use the in-app “Delete my account” option or the account deletion page. Requests about your work records are passed to your employer, who holds them.
